Goldclub Lounge?

Hey there!
Anyone know what you have to do to get up there? I was on the guest list once before...maybe for Corsten...can't remember...short-term memory loss ;) but it was all arranged through a friend of a friend. Anyhow, to make a long story longer, no connections for this weekend and some other friends wanna know how to get up there. Do you need to be on the guestlist or can you just line up there like you do for the Drink? Any help would be much appreciated!

I was just kidding dude, but you deserved it. No one is gonna know the answer to that. The obvious one is that yea you have to know someone. Are you expecting someone here to be like "dude I'm the promoter do you want guest list?'. Cuz it won't happen, well not unless you're going to see super talla. hahaha Sorry I can't be of service. |

I knew you were kidding. That's why I put in that little emoticon of the guy with the silly grin. And I was actually just referring to your Talla response when I said it was getting bad in here. I assumed you were making a joke there and I was just agreeing with you.
As far as my expectations, I was just looking for someone to either say "you have to know someone" or "it works just like the Drink", etc. I wasn't expecting a special invite from the promoter or anything. Just trying to find out how it works.

the goldclub lounge overlooks the main room at the Guv. There is a 10 dollar cover charge I believe for the lounge.
10 pm-3 am
23+ mature clientele

im assuming ur talking about the VIP goldclub lounge
its open on fridays tho.

| I think Gold Club lounge is for Gold Club guests. I know at summers end guv employees couldnt get anyone in the Gold Club. I spoke to the door guy at the gold entrance and he said its not for guv guests. That was on a major event night though. not too sure about regular nights. |

thats what I thought too. But I think they changed it now for this season....since they close the Skybar during this season. It's fridays only tho |

| I actually saw ppl in there on a saturday night when ornadel was there, and wondered the same thing. But i wasn't gonna leave the party in the main room it just kept getting better |

humm it may just be a VIP section for special shows on saturdays
Cuz for the usual Mark Oliver nites...it doesnt indicate that its open on saturdays
you can check the guvernment's website...they have the details there....under the day's events |

Thanks for the info guys! My friend actually had some luck just emailing someone at goldclubseries.ca (not sure if it was info@ or maybe webmaster@) and asking them what the deal was. Anyhow, someone wrote him back and got him on the guest list. He was just looking to get in there for tonight (Saturday), not for Digweed, so like King Mack said...probably vip only for special events.
Wow...and Halo20 sounded so sure of himself. Maybe next time he'll only respond to questions he actually knows the answer to. hmmmm...doubt it.:haha: |
