| I had a dream I was the DJ at poparazzi one night (dont ask me why :nervous: ) but it wasnt poparazzi inside, but some club I've never seen before.. and I was laying down some trance, but I kept getting distracted and going off into the crowd. and I was playing from CDs for awhile, which is strange cause Im a vinyl DJ.. then for some reason I followed someone out to the parking lot (which was the parking lot of Hillcrest mall for some reason :wtf: )this person was someone that I go to school with, but I dont really know her. and when I got back into the club the track was running out and I had to quickly do a beatmatch for the next track, etc... and it was strange. but amusing. :D |

all I remember it was some underground rave, pretty cool, it was dark and lots of ravers, but I can't remember anything much other then that. |

i have had many many dreams about djs and parties
what can i say? i eat, sleep, LIVE for the tunes...
i have had about 5 dreams with paul van dyk in them
hmm...2 with sasha and digweed
and one with max graham
these i remember, i don't remember most of my dreams, but i do remember that they were quite fun.
if i were to write what happened in each of them, it would take a very very long time to write everything. although they are quite amusing:)
hmm...if we ever get the chance to sit and chill, maybe i'll spill my guts;) |

last post i said i rarely remember my dreams, but a couple of days ago i had a dream that i remember parts of, and incidentally it has some dj/party elements to it..
i was in some weird city, with an apartment of my own with nothing in it but a blanket to sleep on (lol).. there was a lot of ed up goings on, but the thing i remember the most was going to a club of sorts to see Dumonde. except it wasn't really a club, it was more of a giant restaurant, with lots of tables and chairs and stuff, and the dj booth in the middle, on an elevated platform. i was on a second floor overlooking the platform. i remember thinking "hmm there's not a lot of people here!"
when dumonde came on, i was curious to see them because i never saw them before, and it turned out that dumonde was a pair consisting of a tall guy with shoulder-length blond hair and his transvestite partner (with a huge chest)! :conf: :conf: :nervous: :nervous:
when they came on, the blond-haired guy put on a track (i don't remember what it was but it was something by dumonde, i recall their drums). anyway, after putting on that one vinyl, the blond-haired guy lied down on a big sofa (incidentally right next to the decks, on the platform), while his transvestite partner started dancing around..
i thought, "pfft, this is dumonde?!!"
i was laughing when i woke up... :eyespop: |

i had my first trance dream
all i remember was that i went to get tiesto to sign something, as he was signing cds, but i wanted him to sign two things, but he was like nope can't, his record company said he could only sign one thing, or he would have to pay 100 dollars to them, and i remember getting pissed so i said i do not want anything, then realized my friend would want something signed so i got her cd signed hehe, that is all i remember. |

| Once last summer I had a dream where I went to Area 2 and got Tiesto's autograph... well when I actually went to Area 2 I actually did get his autograph. It was amazing! |

My usual rave dream involves me walking down a street, when I happen upon people going down a sewer hole.
I go down also, and see this large party space completely clean with interconnecting tunnels.
Everyone is dressed in Phat pants and Caps, with the occasional Rainbow Afro thrown in.
The party starts to jam and the general colour is violet/purple/indigo lighting.
During the dream, it always feels as if its the ultimate party, because its a secret party.
I started in Toronto in 'Sept 95. I know nostalgia filters memories, but there was something special going to a place, any place where people of all ages would dance and just be themselves.
Clubs have always and forever will be about attitude.
My first rave was at a three-level underground garage with people dressed up in Evel Kneval outfits and Bumble-bee suits.
It blew my mind. There was a conga line of 15 girls going around the garage up the ramps.
The guy with the Evel Kneval outfit danced with his helmet on.
I believe Jungle was at the bottom, trance/house in the middle and ambience at the top.
It was at Spadina and King.
I've tried to get into the garage for old times sake, but it's private property.
There were girls dressed up like guys dancing in the most unique way, almost like plants. Howser chicks. It took me 10 raves before I figured out how to dance: by not giving a and dancing to the non-beat. I learned dancing from these girls.
As soon as I saw this, i was hooked.
Where did those girls go?
I believe it was called Tribal Gatherings by Dose.
At that point, I understood what it meant being in true ecsatcy.
Not supreme happiness but utter contentment.
Man that party was the best I ever was at.
Destiny 16 at St.Clair near Jane I cannot describe with justice.
The whole place had been divided into two, but each side rocked with the other. I had 1.5 inch thick sport shoes and was dressed like a referee. I danced so long that my left leg went out, so I continued with my right.
I hope to find parties like this again in my lifetime...
I havn't been to a good party since Chocolate at the Hershy Center in May'99. |
