"Speaking of hype. Somebody has told me recently that BT is now claiming he invented trance and "stutters". Has he never heard of the KLF? They did both before him. He is without doubt the biggest and blondest dried up tit this community is forced to suffer. He is a shining example of somebody who claims to be in it “for the music”. I question his motives and his music, but not his stuttering.
BT has invented his own mythology and very little else. Because he is repeating this completely ridiculous claim people will begin to repeat it and believe it. If nothing is done about it then it will become a commonly held belief and few will go through the trouble of defending the truth, if there actually is any left worth defending. Can you even imagine making that kind of claim with "trance" in its current state? It would be like claiming to have invented anthrax on the 6'oclock news. Gushing, blushing and bobbing as a reporter thrusts a microphone into his face. Bouncing around like a frat nerd jacked up on a spoonful of fame and geek steroids, agreeing with everything the reporter says and then saying, "Dude, I invented trance. I’m a pop tart phenomenon.” Tell everyone. I think BT and Jesse Saunders should be forced to fight to the death with pizza cutters and the winner can claim they invented skittles.
And if BT invented trance then I invented misspelling and diarrhea. I send BT an open invitation to an electronic history lesson anytime he wants. I would be happy to prove him wrong. We'll start with a record called, "What Time is Love" (Original Mix). Or maybe Force Legato, “System” (V 1.0). He's like a kid that stays an extra hour at school to clean the chalkboard and tells the teacher he can't wait until the class has moved on to the next chapter. He’s brown nosing his own fans to make them feel like they’re in touch with something that matters: his ever lengthening and wooden nose. Pathetic. He didn’t invent stuttering, he invented shamelessness.
Maybe BT will finally make it onto the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and the music world at large will be forced to acknowledge that dance is dead, that it fizzled out naked, gasping and gurgling. Covered in its own semen. Found in a hotel room drowned in puke like all great drum machines. BT will be fingering his butt-hole on the cover claiming that he invented masturbation." |

i have seen this before. and i can see that BT is easily telling the truth, you dont jsut lash out because u aint friends with sum1, ferry said nothing about tiesto when tiesot made that stupid comment did he?
some proof is that oakenfold when at crasher, left the dj box to be sick sumwhere, because he'd probably snorted to much coke, yet his set carried on, he may of left jsut asfter a mix and got back in time, but i doubt it quite a bit.
also tiesto used to pay peopel to make poppy remixes for hi mto rake in the money, and oakey uses andy gray for a lot of his stuff, he msot likely does the same. |

well its an interesting notion. alt i highly doubt even oakie would steal BTs stuff - besides, Bunkka would likely be much cooler if it had a large BT influence.
im not hanging on BTs balls or anything tho, i dont think he is jesus christ - but it is true that oakie pulls the pose more than he spins.

its just celebrity bickering and personal opinion. and as for oakies productions, we should be discussing Andy Gray and not Oakenfold himself.
alt i do understand how people think every vinyl spun by Oakie is an "Oakie Song"...its really stupid and happens all the time in the US. it prolly comes from his typical song, but that doesnt mean he can make quality productions like Piledriver himself| |

So you mean that Tiesto for instance should play ready mixes too ?
I know for a fact that Tiesto has been shagging a babe at atleast
one occasion, I can't imagine that Tiesto just left for a second
and then returned.
Or maybe when AVB leaves the booth to take a piss during his long
ass sets, then he has prolly loaded up "Transparence" or something.

If you don't follow his apperance, why the hell are you responding to
this thread, responding in a matter where you now state that you
have no knowledge at all ?
Sure, Oakenfold has made some money commercially but so has many
other DJs, if you want to discuss that Im sure you can use the
searchfunction.

don't mean to be funny matey, but what the hell did he sell out too?
after 99, he went and conquered America, which is the hardest thing to do in the music industry....
He does Bunkka, which is possibly the most diverse album imaginable, and it happens one track from it has some commercial appeal because of the singers previous chart success...
now BT has come out before and bitched about Oakenfold, they had a spat ages ago, and BT left (or was thrown out, i'm not entirely sure) of perfecto records, and he's done all since, unless you count the great work he did with N'Sync :rolleyes:. A month or so ago he came out and attacked Oakie saying he doesn't do the tracks, it's all Andy Grey and Steve Osbourne etc...
If what BT has said is true, why haven't Andy Grey or Steve Osbourne ever said anything, carried on making tracks with Oakie whilst he gets the majority of the credit? Simple fact of the matter is it's not true, in 99 he worked his ass off to promote the scene, he was quite rightly voted #1 in the world (face it, nobody thats won it since has had a better year than oakie did in 99).
When you're at the top, people try to knock you down (I should know, I've been trying to twat Tiesto off the top for a while now :stongue: ).
Speedracer, I'm willing to bet £100 that the twat that wrote that loved Oakie back in 99, but know is just pissed off cos his little sister sings starry eyed surprise.

| i also don't see how people can give tiesto and paul oakenfold a bad rap for going commercial, yet they can still admire and even worship dj's like armin van buuren who all he makes is commercial . i mean i like AVB too, but everything he produces is for the pop culture whether you want to admit it or not. |
