in kazaa v. 2.0, it will "remember" all the things you've searched for

is there anyway to manually delete what it "remembered", or will it just delete itself over time, like the address bar of ur internet browser and what sites you've been to lately?

worried about getting cought downloading porn eh?......;)
Acid John
short answer- yes...but nothin was actually downloaded, and it wasnt done by me

long answer-- my friend and i were online at my house talkin to friends on aim, and goin to a couple sites we kno of. i stepped away for a sec to take a piss, and he types 'porn' into the search bar of kazaa.

i come back and i see the search results comin in. im like WTF. so i quickly close kazaa, and we continue checkin out the sites we were before.

i have very nosy parents...so i'd like it if 'porn' didnt show up in the search bar of kazaa everytime i use it
AnotherWay83
use kazaa lite instead, it doesn't have all the spyware

hmm...isn't that just the "autocomplete" function? Can't you just clear the autocomplete thingy, and it should erase it?
Acid John
not only is it the auto complete, but there is also one of those little "down arrow" boxes next to the search bar. when you click it, it shows the different phrases, or words u searched for.

:edit: nevermind....that idea didnt work
Warez Guy
Just uninstall it, then re install it. Problem solved.:D
Acid John
go figure. of all people, Warez guy has the answer.

If you scroll in the search box there will be a option
Purge Searches. Click on that option and kazaa will ask if you want to remove all the things you have searched for. ;) (I'm using Kazaa v2)
