Newcastle owns London, Edinburgh, and everywhere else :p There are quite a few TA's in and around Newcastle. Hope you have a good time in the geordie nation :)
If you like prog we have some good DJs in May/June, such as Kleinenberg, Sasha, Danny Howells and John Digweed. Not much gannin on trance-wise in June though :(
Btw Calla you forgot to add Orbit in Leeds. It's supposed to be a great techno club, it has the likes of DJ Rush, Marco Bailey and Sven Vath in coming weeks.

Back in 2001 I was vinyl-shopping with Jono Grant and Paavo (from Above&Beyond) in London and they led me to a record shop called Plasic Fantastic (somewhere nearby Covent Garden):
