Truce (is that how you spell it?)

I hereby declare a truce concerning the argument of progressive vs. trance. Whether it be boring, or cheesy we all have opinions. Some of us took it too far (me), some of us got carried away (me). So we're all gonna chill out now. haha
I do suggest we keep that thread going just for laughs so that we can shine on the moments from this great epic battle. My personal fav is the grammar rodeo war. I have a beer for the winner.
Even though this msg (each their own) has been said before, it shall be said again. Will it change everything? Doubtful. The fact that actual violent threats are being made on the board does scare me. There is nothing wrong with a little ' you', ' your mom', but bringing violence into the picture over a genre of music is a little too much.
So, as adults we should band together and quit this bull. We should make an effort to tread lightly over other people's opinions and of course at all times understand that everyone has different tastes in music. (if anyone should relate to that, it's us, we are born trance outcasts)
Right here and now, we should all sign on our name declaring a truce. I don't wanna see any replies to this, no ing quoting. Just your god damn names. (I realize that myself signing this will end about 95% of the fighting, please don't remind me). I also vote this should be a sticky thread.

Actually there is something wrong with telling someone to " off". So i can see why that person would make threats. I would too, hell I wouldn't make the threat, I would make it happen. Nobody would tell my mother off and get away with it. I mean thats beyond total disrespect. I don't know if you enjoy being insulted or sweared at, but me (and most likely alot of other people) would find that truly disrespectful. I have no idea how can stand for name calling, espcially on the lines of " you, or your mom". I just hope you weren't the one saying those words, cause then I would understand why actual violent threats were made. |
