Jan Johnston and Kirsty Hawkshaw are runner-ups.
Sarah McLachlan has the best voice for trance. Granted, she doesn't sing for the purpose of trance, but the remixes of various EDM tunes plus her original work are just spectacular. That, and Silence just takes the cake.

I am very fond of the vocals from Sarah Whitaker who is one half of Mara. I haven't heard all her work, but Fall from Grace and One are fantastic.
I also like Jan Johnston's vocals alot too, the quivver remix of Mercury and Solace probably my favourite that she features in. |
