Uplifting, but sounds cheesy?

Hey all,
I've upped this demo track up to my server, it's quite an uplifting piece, but I feel it sounds a bit cheesy, although it's emotional in some way...

Song properties so far :
quality : 192 kbps
size : 13.3 MB
time : 9:44 mins
tempo : 138 bpm
What do you think of it? What should I edit to the track, or should I leave untouched? Or do you just feel it's plain ok as it sounds now...

hmmm...a lil bit cheese, thats rite, imo.
but its nice, overall, but cheesy, yes, but also emotional, you said it all. i say keep it this way, i do make some cheese sometimes to, but never let anyone hear it :D

well, i'm willing to take the risk on merging on the boundaries of emotion and cheese... i think this one sounds more emotional than cheesy, but still. i'll see if i can add some more melodies to it or perhaps lower the notes a bit more, to render out the cheesy bits ;)

Wim, I think this tune is REALLY good! Sure it's got a lil cheese, but not enough for me to care imo... but I'd be VERY interested in doing a remix of this if thats ok? Lemme know...

melody is very nice, but the rest isn`t that good imo.. but its about the melody after all, in this sample, so its good:p

oh, what's wrong with the 'rest' luuk? you meant only the main lead is good in your opinion? or the drums etc? please explain a bit ;) |

The melody is fine (although a bit lacking) but the bongo drum thingy in the intro is... uh... horrible.
