Hey everyone again,
i have decided to sell my PCV 175 mixer, after only a couple of months. But the good thing is i am selling it for what i paid for it. So no big deal. Now i am faced with the choice of another mixer. I am thinking the pioneer DJM 500. I can get this reletively cheaper than the RRP. Does anyone have any rants or raves about this particular mixer?

There have been plenty of mixer reviews on this forum, if you search for them. I have always said that the DJM-500 isn't worth it. Either save the money and go for the DJM-600 or get another mixer. I personally don't like to mix with the 500 because of all of the features that the 600 comes with that makes it so much easier. Again, you can search for threads with those differences--it has been posted several times.

You can probably find a relativly new DJM-600 on ebay for about US $700.

Well,
does anyone have a DJM 500?
DJ_Shockwav

VoiDeT
Yeah i will.
I've been waiting for that damn search thing to come up. Really would help. But thanks everyone

i have used both the 500 and 600, if u can get the 500 cheap go for it, but be warned, u will feel regret for not letting yourself buy the creme de la creme that is the 600. i got the 600s and have reaped the rewards :)

I like it how you put it, creme del la creme......But i don't think i can afford the 600. So about the 500. How do you work the effects. There is no tap button to get the beat set properly and all you have is a parameter knob to adjust the effects speed. The 600 has two knobs, depth and time. So how do you work it with the 500? Also do you think the 500 is any good quality? Thanks
