Ok Im going vynal in Jan for sure, but I need recomendations on equipment.
In my area I can pick up 2 prepackaged sets that I believe that will be sufficent to learn on yet reasonably priced.
Packaged Sets:
Stanton Platnimum Pack
or
Numark Battlepack DJ system
the Numark system is 200 cheaper but I somehow got a job that pays more than I need so If you want to suggest other sets around $1000 please do, remember I am planning on going full on with my equipment and money wont be an object later, this is just for learning, PLEASE HELP! :conf:
Thanks |

$1000 would be good for 2 Technics MK3 (~400/each), decent carts (~$50/each) and an ok mixer (Vestax PMC 03 is fine with me and is ~100)
There's you k. |

| id say either go with two technics 1200's or go for some numark ttx1's. the ttx1's will prolly run you a bit more but are nice tables. the technics, if you plan on spinning at clubs and such, will be good to learn on because thats what you will be spinning on almost anywhere. |

| wait a lil longer and get technics ... it's not a one night stand so you better make sure you're more than happy with what you're getting. |

Hmm if I wait a month and a half thats an extra 750 of expendable income...
Ok what can i get for $1750?
Also where do you reccomend I buy equipment, there's a gituar center in Fresno but I don't mind driving to L.A. or San Fransisco, California DJs any reccomendations? |

He he he, that's the setup that i jsut started with. and I must say I couldn't be happier with it. Although i could be happier with my mixing ability ;) Deffinetly a good setup to get, should last a LONG time, at least I hope it will. I also ended up getting warranty's on my tables, just cause I'm paranoid I suppose. from what everyoen says though it isn't really all that necessary.
