Dr Codfish
This year started a bit bleak in the uk, with a big rise in techno, towards the end of the year it seems to have picked up a bit and i think with less and less cheesy sounding stuff being released It should start to peak again in 2003. Im looking forward to a good year :)

I actually think there will be less good-quality trance.

I think that Armin`s productions will decrease as well, Tiesto will be doing some ty remixes.
Ferry Corsten will release an album.

L-Vee is the man that still is gonna grow.

IMO

Who are you to judge people just by their musical preferences?

2003
Hard Trance >>> Growth
Uplifting Trance >>> Much more commercial stuff and also much more
Prog Trance >>> I expect massive growth over here
Saddam Hussain >>> Big moustache

I want another PvD mix album :) Politics was the last good trance album I bought :(

Sincerely, I hope trance producers will realise it's time to change. I mean, I love trance, but its now fallen in that formula:
(beat, buildups, riff, bridge, buildups again, riff again, end). I'd like them to search for new ways to dispose the sound, to dare to be different.... to borrow elements form other genres and turn trance into something even better... and richer :)

word!!!!:D :D

hope that happens in 2003, but 2002 has still been an amazing year

I'm hoping that there's still going to be some uplifting vocal around, since it seems like everyone agrees that Djs will spin more prog (and yeah, what's up this new "bandwagon"?). I mean I do like it, but there's times when I want my uplifting vocal! If everyone turns to prog it'll get a bit tedious, IMO.
