i am sorta pissed at this recent record i bought.
electric soul brothers- krack that code
the yakooza mix sounds pretty weird when played at higher volume on my stereo.
the drums seem to kick about a quarter beat after when the rest of the melody of the song is placed.
its very hard to describe in words, just all i know is that when played thru my stereo, it sounds off beat, and almost trainwrecked....but nothing is playing on the other table...
the only explaination i have of this is that my subwoofer may be turned up a little too high compared to tha rest os my system, and it may be giving my tables a little too much bass....but i dont think so, because the beat lights on my mixer are still regestering the beats at where they sound like, which is a quarter beat off from the rest of the melody, even at low volume.
hmmmmm.... |

well, i dont know if this is what your experiencing but ive heard of vinyl that just isnt high enough quality when played at high volumes.. a dj i know told me the other day he throws out a load of vinyl cause the 'quality' of it sucks at high volume levels.
that might not be what your getting, could be your stereo or something, dunno, but just a idea :L |
