ah well i managed to recover from this crazy night.
we shall start :D
i got to Guv just before 11 and there was no lineup at all, so we got in quick. the place was pretty empty inside, but i noticed some of the different decorations they had setup by GU :) Mark Oliver was really spinning a sick house set, most of the songs he dropped were played by GU dj's such as Steve Lawler, Deep Dish, John Digweed. one song i did recognize was Shmuel & Baranes - Spanish Tale, the track came on about 11 20, it was this dirty driving bassline and tribal beats & drums :D 12 30, Sharam comes on. starts of the set very original with a suprising chillout deep house track, wat a tune! from there he slowly progressed to soul-ful/jazzy house which was played for 30mins, then played some funky-vocal house. after 1 40, he started to really get banging! sharam dropped a couple of dirty progressive house tracks in a row  then played 1 pr 2 techno tracks and then did the all over again, from progressive, tribal, funky to techno :D ali came on around 3 15 and he was even more nastier than sharam. he dropped Phil K - My House Is Your House (which techno mix is it??), literally everybody on the dance floor went crazy! he played a lot more deeper, darker & dirtier than Sharam :) overall, i think this is 1 of the best Deep Dish nights in toronto we had so far...i never seem Guv with a "vibe" and spirit within it lol
Deep Dish 10/10!!!
i meet up with halo20 & mecha and everyone else i have missed :thepirate Guv was alright until 12 30, after that it was a huge disaster  no space, no room, too hot, etc. but that didnt bother me, there was always the patio which was open :p Guv-6.5/10

I stayed until 8ish, we had to leave because the car was gonna be towed later than 8. haha Apparently they went until 9, I could only imagine what they went on to play.

They didn't play an Eminem song per se, but a track with the voice of Em sampled "No body listen to techno" over and over and over. haha It's so cool. Do you know which vocal I'm talking about? From the single where he makes fun of Moby.

"Moby it's over, let's go. Nobody listen to techno" Or something to that effect.

When did you guys leave? I'd say the most banging was Sharaam from 2-3. So I doubt you missed the best. When I was on the GO-GO stage, haha that was the best time of the night. Man I was on another planet. Whew.

Damn. What a night, Deep Dish put out a crazy set. Lots of new tracks but only thing that bothered me was they played some really crazy Techno that really was a bit off track but the Tribal and Progressive tracks were off the hook all in all it was a great night the Guv was jam packed with people like always but I didn’t really care the sound wasn’t all that good but ah it was ok all in all 7.5/10 night.

Highlight of the Night:

Watching Sharam sing 'Clocks' by Coldplay. As I've listened to the song over 35 times now, I have to say that was very moving. I'm still going on about this party, wow I have to shut up.

Tudo Beleza
damn you guys in TO are so lucky, i can usually go up for the big parties. I would have gone to this one, if it where not for my finals all this week.
