no, not really.

Spyke hit it on the head...the vette would be a deathtrap at that speed.

im not against fast cars, but i dont need a fast car that goes that fast on the street - its stupid, and it would suck to drive around town.

and Supercars.net sucks so i wont bother fixing your link|

"supercars" vettes and all other faster cars or of course dangerours and @ 220+mph if you carsh your probably going to die, its not likely that your gonna reach those speeds on a city street anyways, and besides why would you want to ? i'd like to have a car that fast just for bragging rights, it can do the speed but yo dont ahve to prove it, the kinda car you need is a...hmm.... subaru.... wrx.... i've drive one of those in the city and they handle pretty nice since they are awd and you can get tubro on em so 200kmph in a city isnt to bad for a car.

Haha, 3.8, I think you're dreaming. They do about a 4.5 or so. With low 13sec 1/4 mile times. That's with a good driver too. I know this because I have raced C5s before.

guys, do you even realize that a lambo costs >500,000 us greenbacks and that the insurance and the gas will probably take all of your money, so eventually you'd have to sleep in the car? :p

So was this one street legal? Probably not.
TiestoInTheMix
oh, btw, what would be your MPG @ 250 mph in a lambo???

you'd prolly have to have a fuel truck or a portable gas station to follow you wherever you go
Excite
$273,000 USD/Euro is the sticker price and 10 mpg the fuel economy to be exact..if u were filthy rich then why the hell would u care?
DJ RozzeR
3.5 seconds , thats too fast man , unless you on le Mans , here in the uk we have speed limits like 30 mph on main street , so unless you have great pacience , your gonan get busted.

I DO race cars and while his info is a little off its still close.
The car the is a 1988 Cheverolet Corvette modified buy Reeves Calloway and assisted by John Lingenfelter
The car is a twin turbo 355 cu/in smallblock. the car went 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds and had a top speed of 254 mph. Remember this was 15 years ago. but unfortunatly only 1 car was made it was street legal but Reeves deemed it too dangerous to sell

Yeah, I couldn't remember the exact specs of that vette, but I knew it's the fastest vette. By the way, all of Lingenfelter's and Calloway's cars are street legal. Most of them are driving around in California where emissions are very strict.
