I would have to say my No.1 place to party is Altitude at the Dendy Bar in Martin Place. It's on once a month, and is dedicated to Uplifting Euro trance. Your bound to hear dozens of classic played each night :)
Apart from that, Sublime is always good for the harder trance, although the new silver room plays some uplifting stuff now too. Progress at Gas comes in 3rd for me.
Cheers

Ive pretty much had enough of the regular sydney haunts, ie gas, home and plastic. I'd rather go to something like earthcore, more towards the psi trance end of things.(Astral projection next year should be huge!)Although Melbourne has some fantastic small hard to find bars that have opened lately.
As always the crowd can pretty much make or break a night. Sometimes it feels like your event can have the biggest bunch of arseholes ever which pretty much ruins any great music going on. |

The old goods warehouse (or whatever it was called) down on the docks.
Looked like a church on the outside, then you walk through into this massive room with these roller doors on one side that can be opened up let some air in when it gets too hot in there. Also, the sound was awesome.....
Shame that those miserable s who bought flats out there didn't feel the same way. |

I'll see your Melbourne Park, and i'll raise you Kryal Castle.
I implore, urge and beg for every music lover to experience the magical surrounds of this landmark. :wtf:
But generally, for me, just give me:
good friends :)
good music :)
and 2x2 metre dance space to do my ! :D |
Godskitchen was also good at Melbourne park......
But Kryal's Castle, that's on a different level.... some hot weather would be nice though.
For me it's
1. Good music
2. Good friends
3. And mabie a set of good pills if the music goes on for a loooong time. :haha: |

Docklands fvcking rocked it BIG time, sadly, no more.
Goods Shed; What a summer that was, rumours abound of it reopening, in a slightly renovated, limited event setting.
QBH; Not that good at all. Who designed that place, really? Its a joke, the design fvcks around with the sound and if you don't know where you are, you won't be going anywhere for awhile.
Melbourne Park: Only really suitable for the big kickass parties that are few and far between. If its packed with the right crowd, it goes off, but tends to attract a far more 'commercial' crowd, wooed by the flashy advertising and the cool factor rather than the music and the dj's.
Kryal: Havn't been, don't know, can't comment.
Of course there are a load of clubs out there that cater to events of various shapes and sizes, and i've been to a fair few. A fantastic party can come rocking along with 5000 ppl @ GK, or with 300 or so at some club down a lane in the city, it all depends really. |

My favourite place in perth would have to be old berlin. It has 100x times the atmosphere of the globe and metros city put together. But then again, it depends on whos playing and the amount of people. I dont think there could be much that tops tiesto playing at metros with 6000 people packed in.
That was in sweet. |
