The nearest decent club, and the biggest club in the UK is godskitchen @ code birmingham. About an hour on the train from milton keynes
However u may want to look at peach in london (only 70mins on a train for me
Or passion - coalville, think thats spelt wrong, but go to passions site :D
Otherwise its sheffield and gatecrasher, i think we could make a killing if we opened up a big club in milton keynes :D |

I hate clubs that make you dress smart or trendy. My local 'club' makes you wear a collar, jacket etc. Rather than ensuring that this gets the smart trendy hip things in, they instead get the local alcoholics in, treating it like an after hours drinking club rather than a music venue. People arrive just before 11pm to ensure they take advantage of the 'fosters ice for £2' offer, buying 4 or 5 bottles before the prices go up.
The DJ uses a computer - and doesn’t even mix. They play some commercial trance/house and quite a bit of pop. The dance floor is legendary locally - for being no bigger than someones front room.
The underagers have a well good scam going though- someone opens the fire exit, the alarm goes off, the two bouncers come to shut the door, leaving the front door open. So either people come in the front door - or they come in the fire exit before the bouncers get there. Last time i was there it happened at least 4 times.
One of the two bars close before the other - and people just sneak behind and nick booze!
Yes, its a hole, but the best in the area. Local myth states that there is a good trance/ hardhouse club nearby - but i don't think it exists. |

ROAR is e! The place is always quiet and they play more than just trance in there - its mainly hard house djs now. Here are some listings though:
