who originally made the song Halcyon? im a little confused. orbital has a track called halcyon, on and on etc. yet chicane has a song called halcyon. listening to them both they are different, namely the vocals in orbital's halcyon, but then i come across things like Orbital - Halcyon (Chicane Airscape mix) ... is this last one just mislabeled? someone clear up my confusion!
in the end it doesn't matter much cause i like em all.. but just for peace of mind

| As far as I know the two songs have nothing to do with each other(and the titles are a bit different), and there are several remixes of Orbital's Halcyon & on & ON. |

Orbital - Halcyon & On & On
Chicane - Halcyon
Chicane - Halcyon (Airscape Mix)
i hope that helps. if it sounds more like the chicane halcyon it must be the airscape mix of it. |

| just so you know, orbital's track was originally just titled "halcyon" also. "halcyon + on + on" was a remix of that track. |

Two completely different tracks. Chicane - halcyon has also never been released, but another track called 'Jose Paadilla - who do you love (chicane remix) has the melodic background of 'Chicane - Halcyon' with some nice belaeric vocals over it. Whereas an 'Orbital - Halcyon' has been released and 'Orbital - Halcyon (on and on) has been released but is very very very hard to find. The two oribital tracks also sound a bit different.
Plus the Orbital - Halcyon' track uses 'Kirsty Hawkshaws' voice from 'Opus III - its a fine day' in Reverse! Which makes it sound great.
anyway, i hope i merely didnt confuse you further.
