now.... i was just have a small conversation, in the #ukta room... and sumhow i got onto saying about one of my best clubbing experiences.....

the night.. gatecrasher red + black night part 1 (classics night)

this was a tremendous night..... but as i dont particularly love normal trance as much as hard trance and acid trance... this was a struggle... sure they played all the tunes i loved ages ago... but there wasnt no hard stuff.... anyways.... great night, but i was lagging a bit due to crap pills and base (speed).... it got to the last 45 mins... and my mate gave sum of his base to me.... i came up on it almost instantly.

the last 45 mins r probably sum of the best 45 mins ive ever had.... then what was thought to be the last tune..... Rank 1 - Airwave, came on..... the place exploded...... along came the second build up (the climax)..... the DJ started to fade it out..... the just in time....... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOM, and me!..... i felt an enourmous energy blast.... sort of blast from behind me..., dancing as hard as i possibly could, along with 2000 other smiley faces that surrounded me... i was in pure euphoric heaven ..... then on came pearl river. :))))))))))))

shared any great times like these?.... well share them then you silly sausage!!!!! :p

the republic sheffield is again the venue, but this time for gatecrasher 8th birthday, its 8:20am and matt + scott are being the decks. matt drops not over yet (matt darey mix) and were all sat along the podium rails hands in the air. then scott comes on and mixes str8 into the breakdown of airwave, and im nearly in tears! finally matt plays autumn tactics thrillseekrs remix and were all jsut sat there smiling away after oen of the best nights of our lives, theres calls for one more, and just as scott is about to play pearl river the club owner cuts off the power and escapes, before he is murderded by several hundred shouting cyberkids! after 20 minutes of shouting "ONE MORE ONE MORE" we all head out...

Passion, on my birthday, Guy Ornadel drops Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Pulser mix), that was really special :)
Godskitchen, Guy Ornadel drops Gouryella - Ligaya, first time I'd heard it properly in a club, the lasers were amazing, the quality sound system really shone thru, really powerful moment :)
Godskitchen again, Dumonde drop Tomorrow, I was standing in the same spot as I was when Guy Ornadel dropped ligaya, it was another amazing moment :D

I'd have to say mine would be my first time ever going out to hear a DJ. Summer of 2000, Giant @ Circus in Los Angeles. Christopher Lawrence was on the decks, definitely a night to remember.

But my favorite night since then was seeing Paul Van Dyk in a 1500 person venue here in Seattle. Incredible sound, visuals, vibe... everything was prime.

DJ Tiesto @ Koolhaus (Oct 6th/2001)

Back when tiesto did not wear retina burning shirts, back when he could mix and before he sold out. Took apart the dancefloor playing silence, flesh and to finish it off...urban train.

for the progressive lot

Sander Kleinenberg @ Koolhaus (March 15th/2002)

My gosh, Sander's first appearance in Toronto and he took apart the place playing some groovy tunes, I still don't know the name of. Best was the double whammy of highland - no way out (highland mix) and Art of Noise - Yebo.....such a slamming night..
