Hi Guys, Well.. I buy Used technics and They came with a pair of Headshell with Cartridges, and they wer fine for a time.. but then I bought a pair of Stanton 680 EL II, I read the Instructions that came with the cartridge to Mount it.. and I think is Well Mounted, and I put the Right height and wheight of the Tonearm, 5 in height and like 3.5 in wheight. However, When Im cueing and I do back and forth the Cartridge makes a little shake, and many times it jumps to other part of the record... and then.. I cant Mix.. so.. Does some1 knows what this can be?... another thing: I mounted the Cartridges in the headshell with the Screws in the Middle ... i just supposed that they must be there... or am I wrong?

Thanks in Advance,
Carlos.

turn the anti-skate down when back-cueing
it's the basslines on the record that make it shake
if you look at the grooves just right you can actually see where the bass is and that's what causes the shaking
at least that's what i noticed
as long as it's not happening while playing, it's good to go
