need some advice from the trance gods

| i am trying to put a show together for my local university. When i first heard trance it was one big long mix and i loved the music but did not know where to turn for title and artist. i am proposing a show called trance for dummies where i would play 2 or 3 tracks mention the artist and title and where to find it. What do you think? |

| i could learn at the same time. i could bring in local djs and i could get newbies started on the right track |

1) read about new songs and classics on TA
2) get on the Direct Connect hub and download em
3) repeat until you have a background in trance.
then do your stuff. |

FFS thats what he came on here for, some advice! not to be told he's a newbie or that he needs to leard more cos he already knows that!!

well he didn't say he was a total newbie.. he sayed "the first time I heard...". And there's nothing wrong in bringing someone to trance, everyone here tries to do that...
My advice: Go for it, unless you're not sure of what you're doing
and again.. there's nothing wrong in being a noob if that's the case, everyone were a noob once. |

i really hate it when a guy asks for advice and he just gets abuse, pure arrogance.
anyway, instead of stopping and calling out wot it was, is there any way u might get a projection behind u with title-artist-label coming up with each song? just a suggestion... |

Ya i started listening to trance about a year ago. My one thing of advice is that after start to feel like you know what your doing and such, you will find out you still don't know . happened to me a couple of times.
