Depends what your view on trance is. Some-one who has listened to it for years probably thinks it sounds all the same, but thats the same with any genre.

Some newbee will love it at its current stage and will continue for years most likely.

Listen to what you like, not the dude sat next to you :)

dunno, IMHO 2002 was a much better year for trance than 2001. so many new awesome tracks. djs coming out of the closets. i'd say the sound evolved, dunno if in a good way. but we'll never prolly have the 1999 come back

nah-nah...!
Enfuse Dub
Progressive took over the latter part of 2002....but I see Trance coming back in early 2003, with Progressive going into a small recession, and then picking back up mid 2003. Its time to whip out them Anthems! Currently bangin Yves Deyuters newest.

hardstyle has never been as popular as trance and although it is getting more popular, I doubt it will ever go into the commercial charts.

I do agree with whoever said
that trance is commercializing... yes the radios air trance a lot... and yes people whistle and sing trance toons... and yes your friends ask you what is this tune and what is that... and yes that will make you hate some tunes that you would have otherwise loved...

but whatever happens we'll always have the tunes at least a couple of months before they do, and some bits of joy. that's the only difference.

Well, in Holland it is commercial... Dana's album was weeks on #1 in the album-chart
