| man, i dunno what to tell u about that, how grateful would i have to be if i was at a party, waiting for him to come up and start his set, and he never comes?! he should take care of his fans, like tiesto, not try to em over... |

oh i didn't disagree with ya one bit trancegeek. i was just bein' optimistic. i mean if i was stood there waiting for him to come on and he didn't show multiple times, i would be pissed too. i hear what you're sayin' though. |

| its all good, i know he's worth the wait, but still... |

| breakdown |
i dunno
perhaps his plane got delayed
his plane got cancelled
last minute family problems
etc
he does have his own life to worry about too...
i'm not tryin to protect him or anything.. well i am.
but a lot of times, ppl slag of DJs who don't show up.
sure.. some of the time, they don't make it because they're too lazy or wut..
but i'm sure a lot of times.. they have a good reason not to make it.. |

| yah..but regardless of the reason, the crowd is gonna be disappointed. no doubt. but yes, and from the kind of person corsten is...i don't think it would be because of a lame reason like being lazy and whatnot. |

im really pissed at ferry, he's such a sellout, he was supposed to appear twice in toronto, first time over a year ago, and dude never showed, and then again this winter... i still like his , don't get me wrong, but maybe hes just a tad too arrogant? i dunno.... peace |
For european trance artists with a relatively small fan base in North America, there's a lot more to think about when flying over here... whether or not he'll be well-recieved is a big issue... most of the major clubs here in toronto are poisoned with house music... lol... so there's a lot more to think about than doing the fans a favour... |

i agree, but why not take that chance like tiesto? tiesto was amazingly received his first time around, long before many ppl even heard of him here in toronto, same thing w/ferry...
as for infinity's post, sure, he has obligations to his family and flights and , but he's got more obligations to his die hard fans, i mean ok sure, i could understand him to miss maybe one appearance, but twice, thats just bad... |

I was at Massive... and this isn't true ;)
The last track Ferry Played was Chicane -Autumn Tactices (The Thrilseekers Remix)...he played this AMAZING tune for about 2min... and then Ferry had to stop this tune from the organisation (Time = Time) even before the "highlight" of of Autumn Tactics.... so the "boo-ed" was for the organisation I think. |
from what i heard of like 10 people that've been there, he was booed coz the crowd didnt like his music and i heard it from sum guys that booed as well, so......

maybe SOME people didn't like the music he played...... but the biggest part was screaming and applauding for Ferry :)
But I can't remember the situation very good... I've only noticed the boo-ed by the "Chicane-stop" so... |

ferry played good @ massive.
he has changed his style completly (compared with 1 year a go) and well he didn't played commercial or cheesy trance he played progressive and well progressive is still not that popular as techno/trance in holland altough it is getting more popular.
And well for that sensation line up well it isn't that commercial. |

Ferry isn't quite as big as Tiesto in North America... I don't think any of Ferry's tracks have been played here on any mainstream radio stations, but Tiesto's remix of Silence was played out here to the max... |
