Okay his first article was pretty senseless and contained nothing but DESTRUUCTIVE criticism but this one's addmittedly well thought-out, it has a point. And you won't believe but he actually praises some PVD, Oakey and BT productions so saying hes bashing for the sake of bashing is not a vlaid argument this time. Moreover he IS an excellent and purely entertaining writer..go read my sig :p
(I dont agree on his attitude towards Tiesto though...) |

I spent some time reading his article and I enjoyed my read. He is indeed a very good writer and although my personal opinion doesn't match his (because I like each of the artists he puts down for what they are), I can see where he's coming from and respect his point of view.
Also, I wouldn't exactly say he's a "nobody" who doesn't have the right to criticise others. He has actually been around for quite a while, just not much in the public eye. I have Eros Euphony - Dreams from 1997 which is produced him, Jimmy Van M and Sam Mollison. It's a very nice track in it's own way and the Tilt Remix is one of best remixes of the "old" Tilt style. He's also produced with Barry Jamieson and Johnothon Sutton of Evolution who are two of the most underrated and talented producers in electronic music in my opinion.

| I agree with aloep 100%.This article is actually very well written, and Sean shows he's got very good arguing skills,in contrast to his last article,which was just another display of stuck-up progressive elitism(but quite funny at times tho).I still do not agree with him 100%,and its clear that he's another one of those who think progressive is the "future of electronic music" and with the typical eltist-attitude,when in fact progressive as a genre has problems just like PvD,Oakey or BT has musically.But at least here he comes up with solid arguments for his opinions,which is a lot better than many of his fellow elitist-colleagues.I guess it all boils down to the usual matter of taste. |

this is def not the article he previously posted.
looks like this one was written BECAUSE of the low quality of the other article posted here. its much more concise, with real examples and support.
that being said i dunno if i agree with him, since there are fallacies in both sides of the argument. no one would listen to me if i was ranting about this , so i dont see why we should even register cusick. he released a track? seventh city likes it? so, no one has ever heard that track before? j/k
but seriously, he was ranting in his previous article about how the scene needed more drugs and whatnot, hes a turd, he just managed to cover it up better in this article| |
