definitly good to practice with less tracking force - you dont wear your records as much and learn to handle vinyl gently.
I use Nightclub S's and find 4 grams is good for performing. if you need more skip resistance than a nightclub at 4 grams, you should consider scratch needles, IE the pink ortofon stylii or shure M447's.
the pink [scratch] stylii will mount on your nightclub cart, if you need better tracking. |
