need some SERIOUS help with win2000....

i have a laptop that used to connect to a network. i changed the network setting from "connect to domain:_____" to "connect to workgroup: mshome" so that it would be part of my home network... now when i try to log on to the computer, it says the domain is wrong and it won't let me log on! i need some serious help! windows won't even let me in to fix the problem...

running windows 2000 professional

4 comps on the network... 2 comps have winxp, one comp got win98 and the messed up comp has windows 2000 professional.

Here`s your answer (if you haven`t found out already ;-) ):

I did the same a few weeks ago with my work laptop and the only way to get into the domain is to actually call the domain admin and tell him what has happened. He will then need your computer name and only he can get you access to your domain again.

Sorry, but there`s no other way for you.

Make sure you are logging into the local machine and not the domain. ie. Whatever the name of the machine is what should be below the password box. Hope this helps...
