Are u serious? My friends are flying in from vancouver next weekend just to come to Twilo. This sucks... It means i have to take them to Exit instead. Well, hopefully the clubs lawyer is working overtime to get it back open. I hope this thing doesn't last till june. Missing PVD will be traumatic for alot of us.

Here are the two associated articles about Twilo shutting down. I guess they were trying to hide two people OD on GHB and the city got pissed at them:

Man I thought Twilochik and Twilogoddess were one in the same. LOL
Well if it does re-open for PVD we have to all meet up!

So I guess that's no Sven Vath next Fri. either. Hey I wouldn't worry too much...Tunnel used to get closed down weekly few years back. If I can't see PvD there goes a good summer. Place needs to cool down though...way too many people in my opinion, gonna be a sauna like exit soon. Anyone else miss the old days of PvD when you could actually dance on the floor?
Elysium
Yeah, i know pvd gets crowded but, thats why i try to stay till the end. Usually, after three or four people start shuffling out and theres just a little more room. the last time i was there, i went to the v.i.p. room and there was plenty of room to dance but, the music isn't as loud. Some weird people up there too. Some guy tried to buy my glowsticks off of me! lol! Well, if u don't c PVD this summer i will definitely catch him @ Amnesia in ibiza. Hopefully, i can sneak a minidisc recorder in there.

Well if twilo doesn't open up then there is always gatecrasher at limelight. Tiesto, Scott Bond, Guy Ornadels, and probably pvd. Cause I know pvd is a resident at gatecrasher. If all else fails then we'll just have to wait for creamfields to come to riverhead Long Island on sept 1st.
DJ Lac
Yeah Kor I miss the days when you could dance on the floor when pvd wasn't that up to the mainstream crowd. His music kicked ass then. All hard stuff. His booth was low that time so I could easily reach over and shake his hand. I still remember that time when I got his autograph last year on may of 2000 on my cousin's cigarette box lol. Funny if you ask me. He put a little note saying "Don't Smoke" and his signature and he smiled back lol. I just gave him the thumbs up.
Elysium
Are u serious? "Don't Smoke?" lol!!! Well, intersting to hear all this news concerning other artists. Anyone know when Tiesto is playing exactly. Plus, has the line up for Creamfields been anounced yet?
Elysium
Oh yeah, check out the twilo website. Pretty funny!

DJ...you mention that Twilo might open somewhere else...I doubt the city would give a cabaret liscense to the same management whom they are trying to pin against the wall now. Plus having to construct a new club could take months. Our best bet is that the city drops everything or that Twilo wins in court over these battles. I'm not to worried b/c for years Twilo has escaped the wrath of Gulliani. Sound Factory, Twilo, Limelight have all been shut down at one time or another and they are all still in business. If the city allows Peter Gatien's clubs to be open then I can't see why they would have such a hard time with Twilo continuing operation. Gulliani likes to make headlines to try and convince the people of NY that he's cleaning up the city...what doesn't get headlines is how these clubs re-open soon afterwards. The worst part about it is that there are a few kids who take the partying too far and cause their own fatalities or problems and it ruins the fun for the rest of us who are truly there for the musik.

If you had the money you could move equipment and lights to a new venue in 2 days. Granted, a venue means a licensed venue w/ a liqour license. So having a Twilo night in another club inside of a week is not far fetched. But saying it would take a month is a little out there.
I suppose if they started from scratche and had to get a license yes.

twilochik
Emodx....if they wanted to do Twilo in another spot it would take some time....to get a new club ready takes months. It's not like they just throw stuff together. Took months to renovate and reopen Exit. And I noticed your from Fla....have you ever been to Twilo??....the amount of lights and other stuff that would have to be moved would definetely take some time. And your right about it taking time to get a liscense...and if the city is trying to shut the club they own now down why would they give them a liscense to open another club? That wouldn't make any sense. Right now Twilo is closed and will remain closed. I heard a lil rumor that Twilo even if reopened will be closing in a couple of months to relocate somewhere else. Or at least the management at Twilo will close that club and open a new one. We'll all just have to wait and see what happens!

He was a resident in 99, now just a guest. I can't see PVD slimelight. If Exit upgraded their system, he would be great there. I would follow PVD anywhere in the tri-state area.
