| I've never heard of them,,, well actually I have... but not that I really care to be interested. Some guys are doing a party with them here in Vancouver along with Binary Finary and are billing it as the party of the century. I in turn am thinking,,, unless you're bringing PvD you really don't have anything to brag about. |

| rabbit in the moon is a DJ duo (bunny & monk) from Tampa, FL. i'd have to say one of their best songs is "Out of Body Experience" (Check it out if you haven't heard..it's orgasmic!) this tatoo artist that did my last tatoo knows monk very well and did all his tatoos. he said he is a big jerk and hangs out at the tatoo place all the time and doesn't really get gigs that much. the only time i saw them live was at Mekka in 2000. they actually did a phat set...they were on right before oakenfold. i dont know a lot about their productions or what genre they are categorized under...i just know i love that "out of body experience song" (has vocals and theme from a Tori Amos song called Precious Things) and when i saw them live, they rocked! |

sasha and digweed played some of their when they were here back in april, the rabbit in the moon logo was doin all kinds of psychadelic on the huge screen behind them, looked bad as hell. it was on their delta heavy tour, which was also bad as hell :eyes:
i havent heard about them doing any gigs for a long while but i've heard they're THE live. if they happen to come this way i'll definately see what all the fuss is about, considering i like some of their productions too |

i checked perfecto and couldnt find anything about them... i was told they were with perfecto... i looked into it and i guess they have their own label, Hallucination Recordings...
found this:
"BIO
This Florida trio consists of Confucius and Monk, who met up with the third member, Bunny, in the summer of 1992. The production duo, Confucius and the Monk, went on to create some of the most mind expanding electronic music of the '90s. They are responsible for remixing an array of artists, including Garbage, Orbital and The Smashing Pumpkins. They are probably most recognized for their original tracks, such as "Out of Body Experience", "Deeper," and "Barong" as well as remixes of Sarah McLachlan's "Fear", "Possession" and Goldie's classic "Innercity Life".
They continue to provide an influence in American dance culture with their own label Hallucination Recordings. With performance artist, Bunny, they create a truly unforgettable live show. Rabbit In The Moon's home base, Hallucination Studios, is located in Tampa, Florida,
"one nation, underground, invisible". " |
