| I like the design I just don't think it fits New York...put that in somewhere like Japan and yes, it would work. |

they're all very nice designs... they all handle the fact that the site must serve as a memorial as well as an office complex very well... the idea of the light arc is great... somehow draws on mayan temples and such and the way they used light in their architecture...
some of them do seem rather abstract but i think this is a good thing.. the city needs some new architecture.. skyscraper architcture has evolved a lot since the last great skyscraper in this city was built... just look at all the new east asian office towers... a beautiful, modern addition to the skyline would be a great thing... |

Why don't they just rebuild the whole thing with the old blueprints and send the bill to Bin Laden (or Saudi Arabia)?
Most of these designs don't fit the 1930's style of most NY skycrapers... |
