Hi people !
It`s getting closer to NYE as we all know and where I live the
house events is growing bigger and bigger as time goes by.
This NYE Lucien Foort is going to spin at a quite big event in town,
which I`m really looking forward to. My question to all you people,
and especially you dutch ppl...what to expect ? Does he create a good
atmosphere and does he only play prog or do he mix with break and tribal ?
I have only heard Vivid Skies by Lucien, so I`m quite curious what
kind off stuff he usually spins ?

Lucien is a really good DJ, he is one of those people that knows how to do a tension building set. His style is a mixture of Tech-House and Progressive. However, his style varies from where he plays. On some events he plays pure tech-house/techno and on other events he plays mostly prog, it really depends for what kind of club or crowd he has to play.
I saw him a while back, and he blew the roof off. |

Yeah big Lucien is the man, seen him spin once at a fetival and i was shaking my ass.

he has a good E-mix you could try and get a hold off to get a feel of what he plays and whether or not u like his style. |

| He's a very good dj and his style does vary when he has to spin somewhere like someone has allrdy said, but whatever he'll play it's good stuff! :D |

| Yeah I seen Lucien @ Cremfields Uk this year, and he rocked man, he pumped me up for Armin who was on after him. Even though hes not a Trance dj, his set was mind blowing :) Cosmos - Take Me With U reminds me of him. |

| This guy is the guy responsible for Funk Function, right? I know Sasha and Digweed usually feature tracks of theirs on their CD, it's kinda funky progressive stuff. |

He doesn't play the real boring and downtempo progressive he plays lots of banging tracks :)
Al his gigs i've been were amazing he totally rocked the place :)
His new cd will be released in the beginning of 2003. |

Yeah, he's Funk Function. I have no idea about hi spinning style but he's an excellent producer. His remixes of The Coffee Boys - Nipple Fish and DJ Taucher - Winter Love are particularly good. He also produces with Barry Jamieson and Johnothan Sutton as "Coma Pirates". |
