Hi there!

Good news for all of you who are waiting for a new release: After almost 1,5
years of silence I'm finally releasing my new single!

This huge delay was caused by major problems with the record company that
released my first two singles in the Netherlands. Still, we haven't come to
a solution and because of that I decided not to wait any longer and to
release my new single with another company.

My new track will be released under the project-name of 'StereoShaker' and
it's called 'Rock n Roll'. The vinyl features the original version on the
a-side, with the typical uplifting Barthezz-style that you've all been
waiting for. The b-side contains the 'Bart Claessen Rollin' rmx' which
sounds like a mix of the styles that I'd like to play in my sets (known by
those of you who caught me playing recently). Tight rolling beats, a pumping
drive and a massive floating trance-feel are the ingredients of this remix.
Promo-vinyls are now being sent out to all major dj's who have the chance to
play this track weeks before the official release on Mo'bizz (Netherlands)
and Kontor (Germany).

Finally, we're rocking again! More news coming...

greetz,

BartjE...

Unfortunately, due to Bart "Barthezz" Claessen's busy schedule
and the amount of e-mails he receives, Bart can not reply in person.
Those questions which can only be answered by Bart will be
forwarded to Bart himself.

Odrori, you an me got similar tastes.

Whereas I wouldnt go hailing Barthezz as a great producer or anything, I like his style for silly bouncy happy and VERY uplifting music.
Its nice to get away from the seriousness and deeper beauty found in most 'good' trance tracks these days :D

On the Move and his remix of Never Stop 2001 are still up in my books, and his remix of Lift me Up is really uplifting.

Yes its cheesy, but who cares, other than you cheese hating supremists :p

System F ft. Marc Almond - Soul On Soul (Barthezz Heavenly mix)

Nice pick :) Also a bit more of the epic type than his usual works...

Agreed !

I didn't like Infected but On the Move whether commercial (stop saying 'Cheese') or not was indeed moving and pretty well crafted. Somehow people keep saying 'On the Move is cheese, Dumonde remix ownz though' when Dumonde barely did anything with the track... Not that remixes have to be that different but how comes merely Dumonde's name makes their remix a Mekka?

The Desire remix was also very nice IMO, and Mark Oh - Never Stop That Feeling 2001 (Barthezz Double Distanz remix) also has some emotions :p

Yeah, Im getting the Mark Oh remix for Xmas from a friend, I lurv the bassline :D
