I wouldn't prefer english for several reasons.
First and foremost is spelling. There is not a clear set of rules for how to spell some words, and the fact that some letters sometimes sound one way and sometimes other is stupid. Croatian is better here. Every letter always has exactly the same sound. |

It's called declination in English, and I agree with you about it: that's one thing I love about Russian language, for example. In my native language we don't have this thing, we just use lots of prepositions (like English), and even though it's not so complicated, it may lead to some misunderstanding :p

Nobody doesn't like it :D I know what you're talking about... Portuguese doesn't have this problem, but Russian does: it's kinda funny to make this "double negation" thing... sounds a bit redundant to me but, what the hell, communication is what it is all about, right? :p |

| You see, English is NOT the most spoken language world wide. Chinese is. I mean, there are over 1 billion chinese people on earth and if you sum the population of all english speaking nations, it won't get even close to 600 million... :D |

Spanish!!! Of course, it is my fist language. I like english as well but not as much as any other language that I know, especially European languages I think they are great because there are more ways than one to say the same things or express yourself.
But I prefer spanish and italian when it comes to speaking it because I believe those are the most romantic languages in the world, as well as french.
In spanish when you express your love you can say soo many wonderful things that would not even be able to be translated into english....the same goes for when you are mad and express it lol.
I think Spanish rules!!! :P :D |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in English it would sound like: "Shetrugom aw hayaws seggedet, te sutyoe pawtkanie" :p Here's how to say it in Portuguese: "Vou chutar sua bunda gorda, seu bastardo!"... and in English, sounds like "Voe shootah too-ah boong-da goe-h-da, se-oo bas-ta-h-doo!"... not the exact pronounciation because the English and Brazilian pronounciation are quite different, but if you say it, people will understand you :)
