i have m3d's and the pitch control is offset. i have already used the potentiometer calibration to reset it, but this problem keeps happening. (this is the second time) what is wrong with it? is the table completely messed up, or do i have a bad potentiometer? i have only had it about 3 months... what should i do? THANKS
Cosmic Realm

2yeah, they figured it wasn't needed, you can just slow it down and speed it up with your fingers..

THE CLICK LIVES ON!!!

DOWN WITH THE CLICKLESS :whip: :whip: :whip: :stongue: :stongue:

hey JFernie, do where did you read this?
JohnSmith
CLICKLESS ALL THE WAY!

the pitch has certainly not been "discontinued" on the M3Ds, i have a pair and it works great, and no sticky spot around 0 where it's hard to get it right.

i have heard of techs having an extra 0 point though, or innaccurate pitch, usually becuase they have been manually adjusted inside the deck. I think this can be fixed by a person willing to do a little research, or a lazy person and some money for a tech.

I have absolutly hammered my Mk3s and they are still perfect in every way. The difference without the click is sooooooooo noticable, especially when going back to mk2s..

I did however hear there was sometimes problems with the Mk3 calibration. Maybe take it to a dealer to re calobrate for you...
Project T
BAH to you all, mk2s rock your arse, specially as they be silver :p

<------ has silver mk2s :)
JohnSmith
uh.. my M3Ds are silver too.

this problem isn't isolated to JUST the m3ds, it happens to all brands and makes of turntables

its just a bad calibration

i just re-read your initial post again, and as you saying that you fixed it so everything was alright (0 was at 0 and there was only one 0, 3.3 was roughly right, etc.) and then it went back to having two 0 points?

or you tried to calibrate it and it said you had it done correctly, but it still had the double 0?
