| Trance is easy to make I here from every one , they tell me all you have to do is press a few bottons and set it to 140 bpm and they will just lap it up { anything sells } . I hear these comments from a lot of pepople even the ones that know nothing a bout music at all . And when you tell some one that you make music they instantly turn into music expert , some of these people wouldn`t know how to make Merry Had A Little Lamb . Dose any of this happen to you ? |

All the time!! totally agree with you man.
I remember when the first house music came out, and I was playing at a party, and I said to some of my closed friends, that's these is the new style that people wants to dance to, and they all said to me; "naaaaa...we don't think so, lets play some pop dude"...eeeeek!!
Some years later when Techno,Trance,Goa etc. really got to the ppl. and even on the pop-chart, they all changed there music style,and now even my brother wants me to produce some Trance music for him...hehe. He was the one who said, "It's to fast and loud, people don't want to dance to that!" I think he's got at least 150 Trance/Techno cd's now.
Anyway...ppl. who says that trance music is soooo easy to make, really don't know about the Trance/music culture.
The ppl.(us in here) that make trance music (many DJ's)know is not something that you just make by pressing a few bottons. So why care about what they say or think, you like the music and the way it's move you!!
And if the DJ don't know anything making/playing music for the ppl. who does then...Dolly Parton?!!?!
Well is just my point of view :-)

| The reason these people say at first they hate something thats new then later on turn around saying that they love it because they are just followers , when theres enough people liking it then they will to . I call these people Sheep , one leads and they shall follow |

yea I did that to my Brother and it sounded something like a toilet being flushed 2 octaves lower |

| those people who say trance is easy to make don't know . I got a friend who makes jungle and he tried making trance a lot of time and can't even make a simple melody for it. |

That just shows you still today need great musical skills . I think it,s the most complex of all the music styles what els can have three different melodis that fit together . |
