well expected much more from the man....got there at 4:40 the guy was playing some nice tech-house...but he would leave the same track playing for ages and agesssss....my goooood i was bored...same beat for 45 minutes wtf?...he played freak and higher state of cons. ....the crowd was cool ..the place wasnt packed...ahlamalek nice to meet u man...did the guy have too few records or what?? i dunno i guess he wasnt that into it last night ....on the other side i had been away from the "ARIA" since sept. so that kept me smiling all night...

yah he had like 15 records or so the rest was maybe in his record bag (unopened) the beats were on his labtop and he used his sampler to create some effcts wasnt that intense i thought the guy was gonna get us more into it

It was quite boring indeed. I got at the Aria @ 2am.. no lineup?? 1st time i went to the Aria when there was no lineup... Anyway, getting in was fast, so we went downstairs where Yaz was playing... I usually hate the guy.. but he gotz da skillz hehe :) He played some nice tracks including one that sounded like Mauro Picotto + Marco V... that was my peak of the night.
Then Josh took the stage... and i found him boring after the 1st tune he played. I thought it would be alot faster and somewhat more "acid".
Anyway, i should have gone to Ben Sims the night before :( |

i'm not that negative about this... it was a good set with good beats but i guess i find house more boring everytime i listen to it :( and i couldn't dance that much on those beats, i'm so used to the faster beats of trance and techno...
happy to meet the few TAs over there :) |
