Defining Live Sets

In your opinion what are the live sets that defined certain artists or events. These are the sets that are seemingly the pinnacle of all others. For example Tiesto live @ Energy 2000 could be looked at as a perfect Tiesto set, and also the best set from a Trance Energy event. This is not a best set ever thread.

| i'm sure that we would get more votes for oakenfold @ gatecrasher 6-15-99 then the rojam. both killer sets but i think many would agree that this is the one that made them tune in again. |

Oakenfold's legendary Gatecrasher 99 set pretty much set the standard for his status there, and his residency @ Cream skyrocketed after his 99 set.
Paul van Dyk's 99-2000 6 hour Gatecrasher sets pretty much define what Gatecrasher nights are. Now, Matt Hardwick and Scot Bond are the top Gatecrasher residents, providing much needed freshness to the Crasher scene.
As for Tiesto, I really think his TE2K set is sorely overrated...for me, what defined him was his Feb 2002 Dutch Dimension set.
Mayday? 2002! His 2002 set was crap compared to his 2000 set. |
