Am I the only one here that sees Trance as a life changing experience? A music that makes you whole, where you would not be able to funtion properly if you did not know about it. The music where all things not understood, all of a sudden, become the simplest solutions. A music that, above everything else, teaches you about yourself, about your own love for the music and your own spiritual connection with, not only people, but everything else around you... :(

I'm sorry if I dont listen to trance to just have 'fun'. If you think that is what trance is, then I dont think you are a true TranceAddcit...

Maybe you guys are just taking things a little bit too far. I hate when people talk about this music doing this to them and this music doing another thing. Maybe you should stay off the drugs for a while. You sound like a bunch of sketched out candy kids. Not that there is anything wrong with candy kids, only the sketched out ones.

A TranceAddict is a person that posts on the TranceAddict website and who the cares what you do outside of the five minutes or 5 hours you spend on this site. Also a TranceAddict is a person that had made some friends on these boards and can go to a "club event" and see some familiar faces. It seriously had nothing to do with your undying love for Tiesto (or insert and DJ name here) and has nothing to do with how many tunes you can trainspot in a new set. That's what this site is for. People can come on here and find out what tunes were played. And maybe even find out where to get those tunes.

Yes, I like trance, yes I also like other things like chocolate trouffles. Should I leave since Tiesto is NOT my God? I don't think so.

Everyone's got their own interpretation of trance. What you just described is how you see trance. That's awseme, if see trance like a whole new world that takes you to a whole new place then no one can tell you anything differently. Some people listen to it to 'fit in' or be different, other listen to it because it gives them a feeling like nothing else.
I listen to it for a number of reasons. Fun is just one of the reasons. Trance in general, can work on so many levels. There are songs which can make you happy, sad, energetic or send you to another world.
Clubs and Raves are part of the trance scene. and just like no one can tell you how to dance, no one can tell you who to dance with either.

Trance is a never-ending journey of discovery. The music has evolved tremendosly since it began, and will continue to evolve.

Questioning other peoples dedication to trance is like deciding who should live and who shouldn't.

Exactly my thoughts! For that, I might show you my "ed" picture from Tiesto :D

Well said! Maybe I like to dress well when I go out instead of wearing a t-shirt, but that doesn't mean that I'm any less into the music, or that I'm somehow less of a tranceaddict!

Anyway, Gino is a state of mind, not a fashion sense. :D

Did you just say that Ginos dress well?:conf: :conf: :conf: :conf: :conf:

I'm talking about the 'club gino' such as is found at the guvernment, wearing black dress pants and some nice shirt. I think that's nicer looking than the stereotypical raver with t-shirt and baggy pants.

hmmmm...
I'm beginning to wonder if anyone has read my original post. :D

For some reason people go off on the most weirdest tangents.

OrZonE
I was thinking about the typical palazzo gino ;)

They still need booze and girls to have a good time and think Trance is everything.

I dont think anyone sees a problem with that!

I feel sad. I miss the old rave scene where it was all about Peace Love Unity and Respect.

were you even at the old parties?
and why would you want to party with sketched out drug addicts in abandoned factories?

Ravers are almost gone now like the hippies of 30 years ago
like Dumonde says, "Never Look Back"
