| no im not talkin of picante... does anyone here enjoy listening to latin music ??? or has anyone ever taken any salsa, merengue, tango, samba, cha cha , etc etc. dance lessons ??? i was just curious. i can do some basic steps. it's something that i've always wanted to get into and learn about since i was a little girl. anyone else ? :D |

| being from the caribbean, and from the country from where the merengue comes from u cant help but dance at least a bit and whenever i hear anything with a latin feel to it feels good and makes me wanna dance :p so yeah i enjoy it all except bachata cuz it just plain sucks :):p |

salsa/merengue all that is mad .. but you can't find jack on the net.. unless kazzaa.. but thats like 128kbps quality = EKKKK HELP!!

so yeah.. and its hard to keep up with the scene.. since trance is what i mostly love.. |

| i love latin music and beeing from south florida i hear it a lot. i like Elvis Crespo a lot. merenge is cool but it's like the jungle music of latin..lol too fast for me. salsa is a little more chill i think and nicer to listen to... |

| thats awesome that you guys enjoy this stuff !!! i'm from missouri and not around it too much, but i like the culture and diversity of what i've seen. its been a great experience. i dont really have any friends that like the latin style like i do, except for the one thats introduced it to me . i'm gonna check out elvis crespo and freestyle thanks for makin me laugh lol :p |

same here !!! i need some good artists or songs to make me move.. do you guys think that shakira, ricky martin, enrique, mark anthony , yata yata are all real latin ??? i mean say when people living in Cuba hear their music.. do they think wtf ???its just a question i've always wondered about. and alot of RnB artists such as R.kelly, sisqo and 112 incorporate spanish guitar into their music making it real stylish and sexy. its pretty cool but i want the real, authentic stuff... i have some tito puente.. i love dancing to the song "salsa salsa" its so fun and lifts your spirits so easily, not that i have a clue what the lyrics are. but that will come along soon enough lol... anyone know any others ??? that are really danceable, fun and energetic ?? thanks in advance :D |

LoL Im Latin and all. BUT HATE THIS merengue, salsa, tropical music... dont like it !!!! . In my country, you get more of european, american music .. some hip hop, more pop, lots of dance, cheese stuff, and rock.. as well some Cumbia, merengue, not strong though.
All in All.. I DONT LIKE THIS MUSIC ! ! .. Im ok with my .. trance :-) |

I haven't really taken up any latin dancing but the music i do enjoy. A friend of mine is actually in a band, they play merengue. They are called "LA BANDA BELLA", i don't know if anyone has heard of them but these guys are good...
It's good to sometimes listen to something other than trance..... |
