Does anyone else that spins find it hard to find quality epic trance these days? My friends just got back from NYC yesterday and they picked up like 20 banging epic trance records. Out of the 20 of them, I realllly liked only about 2 or 3. The others, although they sounded promising, either wussed out halfway through the track, or just got bad at some point during the song. I'm thinking this is why I'm taking such a liking to dark, tribal, progressive trance these days. It is the only genre of trance in my opinion that can maintain constant, good production on music. Don't get me wrong, quality lables like In Trance We Trust and Perfecto always put out good stuff, but it's just getting harder and harder to find the stuff. :(
Anyone else feel this way?

| hmm, i'm not really sure, cuz i really don't care how old the tracks are, if i like it, i'll spin it... but you're prolly right, as for the dark progressive sounds u mentioned, i think youre gonna love this new tiesto's double cd... |

| Viceroy, Epic trance is dying. :( There is 10 to 1 more progressive house records being made than epic trance. Progressive & Tech Trance is on the rise though. |

| i think twilo is right, tech-house and like that is really in right now, espicially in germany and ... and epic IS dying, but NOT dead. i refuse to let it die.. i love epic trance and i think your right, that there is alot less of it... :( |
