Tiesto in NY for NYE2002

Hi guys,
I am new to the scene here in the States after travelling over from Australia.
I am thinking of going to the DJTiesto rave on NYE2002 in Manhattan.
Got any advice for me... like where I can get tickets. Finding a crowd of you guys to hang with and the type of scene it is here.
I am travelling up from State College PA to get there and am looking to spend my New Year's dancing my ass off.

most of us would advice you to stay away from seeing tiesto on NYE...since the club(WORLD) is smack right in the middle of times square and thats where the ball gets dropped ...so there will a whole lot of people in the streets including a lot of cops and i am sure you will go through a lot of bull, also the cheapest ticket for this event begins at $125....just for the fact that tickets are that high and it takes place at a club that is not very well run...many of us are staying away from it...but if you have the money and dont mind it have a good time
another option for NYE would be to go to ARC to see saeed and palash for $40...its prog so if you dont mind it go there since its cheaper
