All I can say is wow. This song is beautiful. Not as good as The Return, but they're both progressive works of art. Props to Steve Porter. Love his work.
A1 - Original
B1 - Heavy Mix
I'll review it later. Thoughts? |

Ok the review:
Starting with the Original. Starts off with beats and effects here and there. As the track progresses more atmospheric sounds and effects are added. Half way through the track, instead of a breakdown, the melody just comes in the background. Doesnt sound like a synth or any of your usual stuff. Sounds more like a chime or triangle or something. Its a lovely and chilling melody that gives the feeling of icicles to me :) The melody is over and the sounds and effects gradually are reduced until its just the beats it started with and the track ends.
Onto the Heavy Mix. This time the track starts subtler and quieter, more chilled and darker. As the track progresses more sounds and effects are added as usual. Some ways into the track theres a breakdown. Its quiet and atmospheric, half-heartedly humming the melody. The beats come in again and the actual melody is added. Melody is the same way as the Original except its a little more noticable since theres not too many atmospheric sounds. After awhile theres a second breakdown, same as the first except the actual melody is still playing. It ends, the beats come back in, and gradually sounds and effects are reduced until it ends.
Both mixes are awesome progressive but I'll have to go with the Heavy Mix, since its just darker and chiller. Overall both mixes are very well produced. I hope Five Fathoms and Two Days On Lansdowne come out early next year. |

| Dont see much light in the Heavy mix...The original all the way due to its flat beautifull sounds. Heavy mix is two heavy in my opinion. |
