| Regardless of whether or not people think their DJing skills suck, I really enjoy their set at TE 2002. Nightclubbing is another great set IMO. Haven't really heard many of their singles other than Cream, being that I collect mainly sets. |

| Yeah I use to like Blank & Jones alot. I liked them up to the point when they released Desire. Starting with that tune they started to suck. Well, not really suck, but more that their sound was the same old and started to bore me. Anyway my favorite tune from them is The Blue Sky. Such beauty and emotion in that track :p |

Actually, when I think of it, Blue Sky is a neat track with emotions mixed in to it.
It's actually a love/hate meeting with B&J. Me myself, loved those guys from the very beginning.
Sasha does trance?! I always thought he made progressive house. Oliver Lieb is good, actually very good. imo, he crushes Tiesto and Armin if compared, but B&J are still superior in my opinion. Their music is very original and when heard, their style is detected within seconds. So melodic, so uplifting.... Oooooohhh... What would the world be without them?! |

_czaja, I must admit you got me there. You're right, music should not be measured in amount, but in quality. But that's also my point. imo, B&J puts in such quality in their tracks and in such masses. Also, when so many of their tracks became floorfillers, the amount of their great tracks surpasses most other DJ's.
BTW, anyone here buying 'Substance'? I'm gonna buy it, when it's released here in cold, cold Sweden. It might warm me up as much as my avatar :D |

| I love Blank and Jones! I agree that their mixing isn't the best, but they spin wicked trax in their sets. The sets are full of energy and very uplifting. So, if mixing isn't their forte then their production IMO is top notch. I love the Rapid Eye remix for nightfly, Cream is good, Desire, their remix of pet shop boys - home and dry is wicked...etc.. :cool: |

| Blank & Jones are very good. I like them. But I think, they're better, when spinning alone. They have good skills, but they only use it sometimes (check out jaspa_jones_-_live_at_einslive_partyservice__14-12-2002.mp3 shared in hub). nice set. DJ Culture is really a classic. Very good tune. |
