yes please, i have similar quarrels.
Jah
i think its fair too say weve all struggled with the harsh epidemic that is the canned food buisnes in this, crazy crazy world.

Jah, i agree with you, to an extent. The canned vegetable market is going down hill at an incredible rate. Yet the Canned fruits area is doing extremely well, especially the canned peaches. You cant rival that quality.

If i picked a peach off a tree i would be up creek, with out any of the lovely syrup which comes in the can. That is service.
Jah
true. you drive a persuasive argument my learnered friend. if one was to present the humble peach under 'standard' circumstances it would indeed, be evidently, quite house. The canned variety however is on a whole other level, as you have cleverly outlined the combination of syrup and large can size is truly a winning combination

i think my major struggle however is the variety of other goods that do not share in the luxuries of sweeter than sweet syrups. The dogfoods, the tunas (save the dolphins), the sardines, the muscles and lastly but defnitly not least, the spam, for the love of god, someone do something about the spam. Wheres the love?

Well i would have to disagree with a few of the options listed above this humble post. Tuna again is superior in its canned form. Were it not for the cannedness of tuna, i would need to own a boat, and fish thine tuna from one of our 7 great seas, and then fillet it and chop it my self. Also, i would be lacking the canola oil which the tuna is deliciously marinated in.

The canned tuna industry has defineatly taken heed of the peaches moves. But will it ever catch up? Who knows.

The spam on the other hand. They need to lift their game and hustle. I mean jelly?! WTF ARE THEY THINKIN?! NO ONE LIKES THE ING JELLY. ITS HORRIBLE ! Raw spam literally makes me vomit. They need to maybe repackage their , rename it from unsolicited email, and get rid of the jelly, and maybe add peaches, and or peach syrup.

Jah
well, firstly i think all that peached goodness has gone to your head my unlearned friend, because your argument is flawed on so many platforms.

a.) As any great market analyist who is worth thier weight in canned goods will tell you, the tuna market has been in a rapid RECESSION for the best part of the last 25 years, it truly is at crisis point. I have several associates in the tuna industry and they can all attest too eating thier own children for severe lack of profits. for your convieniance i have included this graph which explains the current crisis :

as you can see the the actual exports of tuna severly lower than the exported amount,Therefore little johnny howard is leaving our hardworking true blue tuna farmers with what i like to describe as, "a bit of sweet all".

b.) If you had read my previous post (as most learnered colleagues do) you would have noticed i ended with the words, and i quote : wheres the love . Now, to the untrained eye this could be seen as a bit of tom foolery, as this is this is obviously the case in regards to you. This simple but effective statement i think summarises the entire spam loving population in australia (myself included) in the harsh betryal, thrust upon us by intrusive packaging (of the canned variety) it is simply a plea, a cry for help if you will to appeal to the australian in all of us too help bring spam back to its former glory. Your harsh outbursts have been duely noted and remind me of yesteryear where nazis were considered cool. But i think i speak for the entire australian population when i ask you to shut the up.

Stay Strong Brothers

a perfect world?

As my litigous lawyer has stated on numerous occasions, PHWOAR! i will be taking this canned food debate to the biggest forum there is my notably rude canned good associate. The HIGH COURT of Australia. Illustrated Below.

Please note the water outside this majestic building. Littered with tuna and salmon. Salmon also being a premier canned good. This large body of Australian water is littered with tuna because of Johnny H's EXCELLENT tuna restockage schemes, which have worked extremely well. So well in fact, that the farmers are able to suffer the .0269% wastage that actually occurs in todays Tuna exporting market. The aforementioned graph, shows and large improvement in this wastage, again thanks to Johnny H's COURTESY AND WILL to protect our true blue tuna farmers. It was only under the labor government of THIS HORRIBLE MAN:

That, that tuna graph was even allowed to be created. Tuna export wastage was perhaps the liberals main party platform going into the election. Second to health care, GST, and War on Iraq. Your attitude toward this humble industry, which dates back to the olden ages, as shown by computer games such as Age of empires (ONE AND TWO) only shows your ignorance. However, the quest for hunting the majestic tuna, can be best summed up by this picture, NAY, WORK OF ART:

To your point b, I have devised a simple and elegant conclusion.
