Linx_da_cat
heheh. thanks every1! :) and to answer a few questions, i do get paid in real life for doing design work. it's my passion you can say. it's what i want to get into as a career, i hope to one day become a really well known one. :D i love the work. i love the publicity, and most importantly, i love makin' people happy. :D corny, but so true.

thanks again all!

btw, integra, to get your sig to work. right click on your sig in my post on page 4, look at the url, select it, and copy it. then go into your profile > edit profile and paste the url in the signature box with the at the end. that's it.

Doing what you love isn't corny... its actually quite noble... I mean look at how many people are stuck in jobs that they hate, but they don't leave... I am glad that you take so much time/effort/pride in everything that you do.... It is quite the trait to have, just don't let your love for design get ruined by anything...

lol. awww hehehe, thank you! nexile's got skillz too! you won't be disappointed by his work. :)

DJ bod, i know exactly what you mean. at my age (17) i look around and see all of my friends and peers and they're stuck @ like dominion or working at some fast food joint. i have never done that in my life. i dunno, some people don't take the initiative to go out there to find these jobs. but i'm lucky i guess. :D

i remember...a co-op counseller came in like a few weeks ago and asked the class 'who here is @ a job that they want to get into as their career?'...sadly...i was the only one who raised my hand...

getting experience is what it's all about in the gfx/web industry. it's about your attitude towards your work and how you represent yourself in the real world. not based on marks and other kinds of bull like that. it's all talent. :)
i guess that's why i love this kind of work so much. it's my main priority, above school and everything.

after working out in the industry for important (and sometimes large) design firms like dxnet, vir2l, blastradius, crash!media, and others...i can clearly see what i want in life and what it takes. :) :) :)

thank god i'm only 17. hehe.

You seem to know a lot about the world for only being 17 (listen to me giving advice I'm only 18!)... I mean its really good to see that your priorities are set where they should be... I wish I had the same thing, but right now I'm just trying to get my degree and hopefully get a job with the Big Three (mechanical engineering is my major)... But since that is highly doubtful, I don't really know whats gonna happen... Ah well, only time will tell I guess
