its really simple man:D
try 2 get hold of a midi file of the track u want 2 remix, for example Gouryella - Ligaya.. u can find it easily if u search on www.google.com for "ligaya midi" for instance..

then load the midi into ur music program (fruity, cubase etc.)
u now got the notes of the track, and u can start 2 modifie it like u want.. if ur done, this is called a remix:D
KoreanDJ
Hey thank for your input. :toocool:

Well, what kind of program should I get?????? Is Cubase a computer program?

Many thanks,

Steve
mantisnl
well, thats up 2 u.. you could try some of these:

-Fruityloops (which i think is the best 2 start with)
-Cubase (u have 2 work with VST instruments, which u have 2 download.. a pretty hard 2 learn program imo)
-Reason (i`ve tried this one also, but also very hard 2 learn, it gives u the feeling of an real studio imo..)

try finding some on www.kazaa.com or simular programs..

they all work with midi files, which u probably need 2 remix, unless u want 2 figure the notes out urself:rolleyes:

good luck,

well, is that the way the big guys do it? they have the midis of the track?
mantisnl
wel.. big guys (armin etc.) get asked 2 do a remix.. by the producer (lets say ferry:P) 2 do a remix of a track.. then the producer who made the original track, sends all the things 2 the remixer which he needs (that can be midi file of the track, acappella`s etc.)
