naw "nigga" is not a bad word according to my african american teacher, but "n igger" is.
regardless me and my friends toss it around all the time. If i ever get caught saying it i can always say im speaking chinese cuz in chinese it sounds similar to a word that means "that". |

okay but lets not philosophy everything to death. Of course the question was not whether the word's "nature" was evil..its more a question of the often cited policial correctness..smiply asking if IYO "nigga" sounds offensive/insulting ("bad").
and just like the pronounciation/emphasis of words conveys a certain intention/determines one perception of what is said..so is the CONTEXT extremely important(in this case: who says "nigga" to whom and why) |

Yeah, I understand that. The point I was trying to make is that in general the whole notion of words being offensive ought to be done away with. |
