quality live set you have ever heard. By this I mean pay no attention to whether you liked the tracks or not. I am talking skill (beat matching, transitions, pace change, ect..) Make this an unbiased selection.
Mine PVD at Giant 2000 or 2001 dont know the year
dj willie whop
well geee....this is a new thread topic, never seen this before, anyhoo

ill go with:

james zabiela - essential mix
BLuEOcEaN420
i cant say i usually pay attention too closely to the mixing in and out b/c im not a dj so it doesnt bother me so much unless i heard the obvious trainwreck or bad beatmatching....

but that being said

*John '00' Fleming - Radio 1 EM Nov 01

forget the whole set name but i rememember that whole set was very smooth. :) J00F always seems at the top of the game when it comes to DJ skills imo

Sasha and Digweed - Essential Mix Delta Heavy tour in miami
DJ Dingel
I would think that Sasha, Digweed or Carl Cox are among the world's best technical DJs. It's just a question of whether you prefer their tastes or not. I'd still stick to Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Talla and Jules (when he's at a trance event) before those three.

Judge jules - Live at Trance Energy - 20-10-01 awesome mixing !

Acid Circus
For an out and out trance fan like myself it is a shock to discover that the most skilled set I have ever heard was a house set:

Erik Morillo - Subliminal@Pacha, July 17th 2002

Absolute perfection with his mixing, so creative using the filters and cutting up tunes left right and centre. Phenominal.

Best trance set:

John OO Fleming - Inside Out@The Arches, November 30th 2002

Quite a recent set, absolutly blew the roof off The Arches when he dropped Ice Cream as well as Planisphere - Totem. Smooth mixing throughout aided to the superb crowd reading from JOOF.
Hi-Voltage
