nope that wasnt it. My friends wanted to go at that point. that was the last song i heard. I'm pretty sure it was after Out of the blue, perhaps alittle before. anybody else have an idea? |
Solstice was played 2 songs after Out of the Blue
They're on the same record, so they probably weren't played back to back, unless Ferry brought 2 copies
The track after OOTB sounded like one by Binary Finary - i'm not sure whether it was 1998, 1999, or 2000 |

Really fun night. Ferry's playlist beat Armin's. I walked in at around 2:45 during Wizardary so I missed the first 30 min. I kept trying to sit down and conserve energy for Marco, but good kept coming on and I had to get up and dance. Me, John & Alex left during Seven Cities. Couldn't take anymore. Ferry destroyed me. Roxy should really install a new lighting system with some lasers. The flashing strobes are beginning to make me sick. Eon- Pocket Damage had to be the highlight of my night and I still really hate Punk.
Here's some songs I spotted not yet mentioned.
Binary Finary - 1999 (I think)
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Armin Van Burren Remix)
Ayu - Connected (Instrumental Mix) AKA (East West - Love I Lost)
Ferry Corsten - Punk (Unknown Remix) {Very Trancy but I heard the lyrics}
Ferry Corsten - Punk (Original Mix)
Push vs Globe - Transformation (Push Transcendental Vocal Mix)
Some new Song featuring Clannad
Armin Van Burren - Yet Another Day (Armin's Dub Mix)
Katana - Alesis
Bodyshock - Rock This House
Dee Dee - The One (Green Martain Remix)
Here are the Pics

u know what was cool was that ferry kept ing with us... he would take the "digital punk" part from the cosmic gate remix of punk, and throw it on top of this melodic track(its a track i know but i ing cant remember..) so it sounded like a different version of punk, like what Tom thought.. he would with us like that, and then he mixes in the original version after a couple of transitions.. heheh and when he played seven cities(avb mix) he threw on the "piano part" of carte blanche during the build up of seven cities... that was phat.. you would hear the seven cities strings and then he throws on the carte blanche piano real quick... and the song right after seven cities was what else? Carte Blanche.. after that kid vicious and ferry tag teamed... it seemed like ferry gives kid alot of playing time.. wants him to shine alot since ferry already made a name for himself outhere and kid hasnt.. all good... although i thought kid vicious wasnt too great.. he has a long way to go as far as djing...
well i was happy to give ferry my mixed cd after his set since my style was influenced alot by ferry..heheh i said to him "listen to it on your flight!" ferry has to be the coolest mothaa.. he even wrote on matt's vinyl cover "thank u for bring it" or something like that and of course he played it :D overall i give the set B+..much better than his Exit set but im waiting for his next performance since he got the feel of the nyc crowd.. the next one should be better.. trust me :D oh and btw... armin's set dont even compare..sorry:D |

I had lots of fun. I got there around 1:30-1:45 and was shocked to see a huge line (I wasn't expecting it because there was no line at all for Armin, and I got there around the same time) Anyways, I managed to get inside in about 25 minutes :D
So I got in around 2, and right when I walked in I caught the very end of Cloudwalking (I'm pretty sure it was the last track Kid Vicious played) Then when I walked up front, I saw Ferry and the night was just great from there. I danced my ass off, and I ended up staying untill the end even though I was so tired, but of corse it was worth it :D
It was cool to see Pyro, NY1004, Taub, EnigmaT, dj tek, Trancer, and I finally met Kid Nyce at the end (That security guard was getting pissed!) :D I also met a few cool random people as usual hehe.

Was anyone else loving the tag-teaming they were doing towards the end? I loved it!! :p |
I loved it too! Especially since I missed Kid Vicious in the begining, so I was happy I could see a little bit of what he can do :D
All in all I had a great night, so worth the ride. I wish I could of made it to Marco V too the next night, but I was too tired to drive back to New York, and I'm kinda broke right now too. Oh well, definatly next time! :p |
