106.3 After Hour Radio Sat nights 12-5am plays a lot of good sets from all over. archives are on afterhourradio.com

theres also a mexican radio station 107.1 or 107.3 i forget, that plays hard house/hard trance around that same time. kind of a trip when they go from banda music to HH

105.9 Power tools is also sat night 2-4am

89.9 KCRW plays a lot of good stuff but its mostly house. Metropolis is some weeknights 7-10pm, kcrw.com

the host jason bently also has an after hours show sat nights on Kroq 106.7 that plays trance among other genres

theres one other station ive flipped onto occasionally in the low 90s but as i have really bad reception i cant remember what or when it is

100.7 has been coming in great the past two days! I've checked out the other's mentioned. Afterhour Radio is really good... just a lot of ads for strip clubs. I wish they broadcast more often. KCRW is a little too downtempo for me, but good none the less. I've heard the Mexican station once, but can't remember the frequency either because I tuned in one night when I was looking for Afterhour Radio. The dance music had a little mexican flavor if I remember correctly.

On another note, Emil and Aris do you still have family/friends in Tehran? My good friend lives there. I tried to go visit last year but they denied my visa so I ended up in Dubai.

For once in my life I wish I lived in Glendale, so I could get 100.7 non-stop. :stongue: :stongue:
I didn't find KCRW to interesting. I have one uncle left in Tehran. My other uncle and his family came here last year. Both grandparents have passed away, so it's just the one uncle left. Hopefully we can get his paperwork done soon.
Are you originally from Iran? I would like to visit Iran one day, but the thought of having to do military service doesn't make me to happy. :stongue:

I spoke too soon... right after I typed that 100.7 started going out and then the SD station took over.

No I'm not from Iran, I was born and raised in the SF Bay Area. Just have a lot of friends from there. Some of them moved back after college.

GrooveRadio is back! I can't believe it. Thanks for the update limin_li, you made my day. 103.1 got me through undergrad, now it will help me survive studying for grad school.

Is Grooveradio 103.1?

Emil :D

103.1 is not called groove readio, it's "KDL party station" for Orange County and Los Angeles. Also read my thread

I know I know... So they may not be calling it Groove Radio, but it is the same frequency as they used to be and the same style of programming they used to have (a mix of good stuff and cheesy stuff). I had seen the details from your other thread on Grooveradio.com already.
