hey peeps, as always our video cards aren't the best, etc. i have an old card RIVA TNT 2 PRO and im running it on WIN XP PRO. now, XP recognizes the card and sets the drivers for it. i went up on the Nvidia website to download the display drivers for TNT 2 & XP didn't wanna install the driver coz of the Compability List...my question is how the can i install that driver so the compability list will accept it?? is there anyway to do it? also my friend has Asus Geforce 4 64 MB DDR card, with his installation of the driver from the cd provided, compability list didn't wanna install it too. his card is fairly new (from early 2002) so there shoudln't be any problems....
finally i figured out the most old games e.g. FIFA 2001, Ironstorm, etc. dont work on XP under no circumstances
i came down to a conclusion that XP is not that reliable as it seems...the old WIN2000 is much much better than XP..the thing is that i can't play any game at all! :( i can't even play stupid candystand.com tennis coz it freezes as well :( so im completely have no idea wat to do at this point.
oki enough blahing...help me out here guys, coz if i wont have any solution i may have to re-install WIN2000. |
