Looks like I am the 1st to post anything in the TO forum, but that's cuz most normal people are out having fun.
This is soooo sad.....and I'm actually on here 'admitting' what I did tonite. I had no plans in DC, and I needed to drive to New Jersey to see relatives on the 1st anyways, so I hopped in my car, and drove here (arrived at 11:15pm) to my Orthodox Jewish uncle's house in Elizabeth, NJ. I made them stay up with me to sit around the dining room table, & watch that stupid Dick Clark show (where people STILL lipsync!) as the ball dropped in Times Square. All I drank was tea. We didn't even bust out the Manischevitz...
I'm never gonna be able to live this one down.
Ah well! Happy New Year everyone. Here's to partying together in 2003!

no worries, ur not alone .. i ushered in this new year alone in my basement weathering a bad cough and cold. this has been one of the most depressing years for me ever.. wells atleast the latter half ..
so here's to a new year , great ppl on TA .. and hopefully to fond memories in the year to come.

I'm just chilling out at home this year.
USA hogging all the NYE action this year. I coulda gone to Montreal to see Push... but that's a little too far away.

At least you have an excuse- you're sick. My situation is just pathetic. LOL.
At least I'm gonna go shopping later today- lots of sales and no tax on clothing in NJ!

Went to cottage for a few days with a bunch of friends. It's been pretty fun!
Got waaay too drunk on the 31st though, so Jan 1st has been hell for me. I don't think I ever had a worse hangover.. |

| No sweat Nat, my night was pretty pathetic as well. Sat home alone watching TV. Thought about going to NYC last minute to Time Square, but was told that I'd never make it into the square that late so I didn't bother. I too will have to make up for this in January! At least you were with family... |
